Origin Story
Hey there, firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit this page. It’s a privilege to have crossed paths with you, and perhaps this could mean something greater for both of us. I’ve always believed that it’s never a coincidence when paths align. This is especially true for me, since I’ve never really tried to “make it big” in the social media space. But I wanted to use this opportunity to tell you a little more about myself.
I graduated from NTU with a major in Accountancy a couple of years ago and subsequently landed myself in a technology consulting role—working with companies like Workday, META (previously Facebook), and later at Workato. This journey sparked my interest in investing, especially because I’m genuinely passionate about technology products and understanding how global SaaS companies operate.
In my earlier days, I genuinely struggled to find proper resources online. Whenever I did bump into something useful, it was scattered and inconsistent. It was extremely difficult figuring out who to trust, which analysts to follow, and what frameworks actually worked. It took a lot of trial and error before I finally started seeing results. How long did it take? Roughly four years—and that’s with me studying the markets every single day, even on weekends. If you’ve been following my Telegram, you’d know my work ethic inside out… so I’m not surprised our paths eventually crossed.
I started this HansEvans project purely out of passion—my way of giving back to the community. To be honest, it hasn’t been easy, especially within the Singapore landscape. Many of us were never taught how to properly invest or trade, and most “personas” out there make the bulk of their income selling courses. I’ve always stood firmly against that, because a lot of these sellers are funded through courses rather than actual market success, especially through their initial capital investment.
For me, I built my wealth through savings, my day job, and my own investing and trading journey. This has been visible long before this site existed—I’ve shown results consistently even prior to HE’s evolution.
That said, as much as I’d love for everything to be pro-bono, most people understand that a gated community is in everyone’s best interest. It helps keep the focus tight, prevents idea theft, and reduces the chances of people misusing or reselling my content. While it may not eliminate these issues entirely, at the very least, it helps minimise them.
Moving forward, I want to focus on the people who matter—and that’s you, reading this right now. I’ve made sure the plans are not overpriced, but also not too cheap—because I want to strike the right balance between fairness and value. And ultimately, I want to attract the right audience: serious individuals who want to learn, grow, and position themselves for bigger things.
